Creatures

Well, it's been a little while since I've posted any actual artwork on here, so here's a piece I did yesterday. I find my style is changing a lot recently, but I hope that's a good thing. I'd like to have a diverse style and be able to do many different styles according to what I want. My current style is heavily based off of artist Matthew Reid. He's an inspiring guy and a great artist. Anyways here is the piece:

In other news, after a ton of software problems I've also finished my first painting for the surfboard skinz website, and it will be up there soon hopefully. Also, I've gotten an Olympus om10 35mm film camera, which has been absolutely great to try out. Here are a few of the better pictures from my first attempt:

Christmas Time

This last week was pretty crazy, I was really bored, but at the same time really busy. Especially the last few days when I decided to paint my entire family (five people) pictures for their Christmas presents. Well, disappointingly I didn't get them all done, only three. But the ones I did get done I'm pretty happy with, here are my mother and father's gifts...

I've been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks working on various things (mainly school) but now that I'm on break and have some free time I'll be working on a lot of stuff and will finally be putting some actual pieces up, but for now here is another quick sketch!
